I just bout a 1986 cougar and I cant find the model type anywere.
I looked to comare options and it has stuff from the ls and gs models
The car is all silver and has a vynle roof (not a half roof this is the hole way) I seem not to be able to find another one like it to compare it too.
the last owner even put in air shocks in the back
how would I go about finding out what I got?

If there are no "LS" tags/emblems on the drivers side tail light, You've got a GS model. (unless somebody replaced the rear tail light with a regular one)
