dealer i bought it off of said it was rebuilt at 130,xxx but had no receipts
new synthetic oil,air filter ,plugs, wiper blades,wires brake pads in front new rotor new shoes in back

pypes lers and custom made exhaust piping w/dumps

the paint shines nice car handles well 100%
interior is very clean but dash is cracked her only flaw but hey its 21 years old
power windows(driver comes off track sometimes)power seats, power mirrors ,hot heat cold air
im looking more towards a trade becuase i would still need to get back n forth to work n cant really afford to miss any days for not having a ride

Special Edition?
yea never heard of it either ive had three 5.0 birds and never heard of this there's a badge on the trunk and it says it on the title.I'm guessing because the ground effects are more from a tc and its a floor shifter..
not knockin you I just dont remember ever hearing anything about a special edition. Titles can say alot and mean little by it.
It does appear to be repainted. For the age, and mileage I would think so atleast. With that being said the badge and red trim strip are still no real help.
I would just call it a Sport since you said floor shifter.

Yea you are right there is nothing online about a special edition it was probably something from the dealer you could get as an option when you upgrade everything haha. I wouldn't say it was repainted though it was just kept clean, the pin striping is kinda chippy(tomorrow during lunch at work ill most likely redo the pin strip). All in all i love these cars because its not like you see many when you go to meets or even just cruising around,just looking for something different to sink my hands into.ill take some int. pics when my brother gets home from school he has the camera with him
Might be a regional thing, like they did with the Cougars (Bostonian, Coloradan, etc). Could also be a dealer thing, where a dealership tarted up a Sport and marked it way up. I'm actually guessing the "regional" thing, since it's got the TC-style side trim and I can't imagine a dealership going that far. Either way, it's a very nice looking car.
fnand03: You can verify the type of T-Bird as it left Ford by the 7th digit of the VIN. If it's a sport the VIN will start out 1FABP61XXXX... If it's a base it'll be 1FABP60XXXX... an LX will be 1FABP62XXXX... and Turbo Coupe will be 1FABP64XXXX...
Yup just checked the v.i.n. its a sport your right it is probably a regional thing a lot of cars have that like in different states and such.It is a nice looking car but alot of people under appreciate them there quick fun and not everyone and there grandmothers have like mustangs.
