Wow!!!! congrats man!!!!!! Or sorry, if thats how ya want to take it,.......Have an extra drink for me!!!!!
my girlfriend had our first on feb 25 of this year. has been one hell of a wakeup call for me
! Two girls at the same time. I'm about to start drinking myself just thinking about it. My daughter will be four in a month, and we put her on a six month probation. If she's a good girl for that time, we'll consider having another child and she can have another baby brother or sister. If not, we might just leave it at two.
Congratulations though. I'm both excited and afraid for you, man.
Congrats bro-At least they'll have 2 older brothers to kick someone's ass!! Kids are great-more people to help me do motor swaps!!
Congrats!! My daughter is 21 and in college.... Can I come drink with you?
You are far from f*ed. That is amazing! My friend had twin girls our senior year!
I agree kendoo, they will need their brothers. Boys you have to worry about one "thing". with girls you have to worry about all of them!
Might be hard but it will be worth it! Im sure you already know from the boys. I am lucky enough to have friends and cousins with babies. I am not ready for a kid yet. But if it were to happen, as hard as it would be for me, life as I know it would end and they would become my purpose. The way I was raised I guess, there is no other option to me. I hope they healthy and everything goes well. Congrats!
BTW, I have always found Dads with cars more intimidating for some reason, plus 2 brothers. Now all you need is a gun rack in the truck and a gun to clean when they come over.
+1
Not to get off topic, but when I went to pick up my (now) wife for our first date, I found out she was the youngest of seven kids. She was the only girl with six older brothers, plus a dad who worked construction. Try walking into that kitchen. Talk about being on your best behavior. Anyway, your girls will be fine. :D
Major, Congrats to  U and your Wife and now you're just a few kids shy of the Brady Bunch Clan.
Congrats man! Hang in there, its just another thing to sit back and enjoy the ride.
Nice congrats! I remember those days I just couldn't imagine it x2.. good luck and get your rest now :)
Congratulations, that is something that isnt common. God has given you a gift and embrace it.
It may be rough for awhile, just wait when they get older, your family gatherings will be great. You will have a great family for many years. Congrats. 2 boys,2 girls..... perfect.
It may be stressfull, but try to enjoy each change as it happens, because it really happens fast. Try not to get bogged down in the stress that 4 children can bring. Try to step back when it gets hairy , and regroup mentally.
Congrats, Mike
Hey, at least its not eight right?
Congrats! here is what you have to look forward to X2!! So much fun :)
You'll be fine till they turn 14! LMAO
Seriously though, it will be great. Just be sure to help your wife with the 3 a.m. feedings and such so neither of you get overwhelmed.
I have a house full of kids... my oldest son will be 18 on Sunday, second son is 16, oldest daughter is 16, second daughter is 14 and youngest daughter is 10. We also have my 16 yr old son's girlfriend who lives with us (she's 18) and they are expecting a baby in a few weeks, who will also live with us. Yes, that's 5 teenagers a 10 yr old and now a newborn will be here soon too. (granted, the oldest 2 daughters don't live with us but we pay support for them and they come visit as often as we can get them).
BTW, we do this all on one income.
It's not always easy, but it is always worth it. So congratulations and have fun with the kids... they only stay little for a little while.
Me and my fiance had a daughter one month-ish ago. I'm only 19, and I love being a Dad. (NOT getting married JUST because we have a baby. Very common incorrect assumption.)
Congratulations! What I've been told is to enjoy it wile it lasts, because when the teen years come around...well I'll leave it at that.
Hey,at least it costs a fortune.LOL.
thanks dudes! I'm actually really excited about it. and we have a ton of support from our friends and family.
Just think, some day your little 16 year old girls will come home from school and say "Hey Dad, guess what? A senior asked me to Prom today!". I told her the same thing I said last year when a Junior asked her "I'm not ready for you to be grown up yet, maybe next year".
Have a drink for me as well!
i got the snip job,, couldnt see all the a woman has to go through when its walk in walk out service on me.
Nothing changed ,, just no more kickin bellies.
I adopted a 16 yr old girl a few years ago, shes up and runnin with a kid of her own. I know now a girl can be a pita to raise.
congrats on twins... if you are gonna drink now wait 14 years THEN you will drink lol
GIRLS... yup about 14 years
lol, you have no idea!!:mullet:
Congrats and good luck :D
Condom + birth control pill = no baby (it's worked for me)
My son will be 5 months old in 2 days, and it's been a lot of fun. Not so sure I'd want 2 at the same time though...
Seeing that little grin on his face when I get him out of his crib in the morning is the best thing on this earth for me.
The most helpful thing you can do is to get the other kids involved in caring for the new babies. That is what has helped us manage our "Tribe". I have 7 total. Their ages are 10, 8, 7, 6, 4, 3 and 1. The 10 year old son takes care of the 3 year old brother. The 8 year old daughter takes care of the 4 year old sister. the 7 year old daughter takes care of the 6 year old sister. Both 10 year old and 8 year old take care of the 1 year old sister. And when it comes to changing diapers, the 10 and 8 change the 3 and 1. They all have responsibilities for someone else. When we go someplace with lots of people, they pair up and keep track of one another.
If we didn't do this, there would be so much chaos. Just look around to see parents with 3-4 kids running around chasing every one of them in order to have them follow directions. I've seen this with a 1 child family. We're looking forward to having number 8, just don't know when God will bless us with one.
And Congrats!!!
Pat I love how you have a big family! I wish mine could have had a few more kids added... but it wasn't possible. I now have to settle for grandchildren.... just a few more weeks and I'll have one!
Kids are great! Twins run in my family, my grandmother is a twin. My ex-wife is a twin and has a brother & sister that are twins. So odds are when my daughter decides to have children I may have twins running around also.
I just hope it's not for a while, she's 17. Plus I don't know if I'm ready to be called grandpa, or pappy. I'm sure that'll change when it happens.
x2, I love that the most! My 3 yr old makes my day.
new pics...

Allison[TW B] is laying sideways at the the top of momma's belly.
Calleigh[TW A] is straight up and down breeched. so, most likely they will be born by C-section.
both girls look fine, and everything seems to be normal. we are not sure if these will be fraternal or identical until they are born. the doc today felt that they would most likely be identical, even with having their own sacs.
That's awsome man!! Glad to see everything is going well!
That's great! I hope the little one flips around for you all so she doesn't need a c-section.
I do have some tips for her if she does have one though..... just let me know.
Today we had another ultrasound, and confirmed that both babies have flipped. the one that was breached, is now in the head down position. the other has just changed sides. (her head is where her feet used to be) Twin A(Calleigh) weighs approx 4lbs4oz, and Twin B(Allison) weighs approx. 4lbs1oz. and they both have a lot of hair! we got pics, but since its so crowded in there, i aint make shiznit out.
My wife is due back for another ultrasound on Aug 21st, but im sure she'll have the babies by then. remember twins usually come a month early, and the doc said he wouldnt be surprised if they deliver two weeks from now. the babies are practicing breathing(inhaling the amniotic fluid), which is a good sign their lungs are developing nicely. currently she is at 32 weeks.
More good news! That's great to hear!
Cool.... I bet you are excited and nervous at the same time... can't wait to see picts!!!
the wife is at 36w today and had our scheduled ultrasound today at a hospital for high risk pregnancies. today baby A measured at 7lbs15oz! and baby B is 6lbs3oz. the doc there said it should be any day now.
and my wife is still only dilated 1cm.
good luck. Its awkward how every person that walks in the room just sticks there head in there isn't it? I was awake for over 36 hours straight and got called into work the day before. Let us know how it goes.
Almost time for BABY TIME!
Don't wanna take away from you, but my girl and I are going to have another one as well, roughly due around next Feb/March.
So...any babies yet!!?????
Congrats... Once they are about 2-3mo old you need to let them sleep in separate rooms... Why??? Cause when one wakes up up at 2:30AM you'll have two screamin if you don't... I have twin grandbabies, know all about it(from the daughter)... Now that they are three & a half, grandpa gets to spoil them...
BTW, you guys need to behave, no speeding or squealing tires...

Good luck man kids are great but 4 is kinda of a lot i know a family with like 10 kids that lives in town if that makes you feel any better.
As long as you teach the 1st 2 right hopefully they will help with the 2 new kids might save you a little work and time.
Congrats dude. Wifey and I have a pair...5yo girl and 3yo boy. If you swing it right...they will all be gearheads....mine are!! Sara was laying under the car doing oil changes with me at 2yo. Colt flips through my Hot Rod magazines looking for new motors to put in Mom's "Thunderchicken" and Dads "Burnout truck".
The only that freaked me about having anymore than two kids is that we'd need to change vehicles...bye-bye Subaru Legacy (her car) and Buick Century (my beater), hello third row seating vehicle. I was having none of that!!
Hello soccer mom van!
I told my wife I'd drive a station wagon before I'd ever drive a minivan.
Ain't that the truth!! I had an Escort wagon and LOVED it for beating around...but it was NO where near big enough for three ++ car seats. Now-a-days kids have to be in some sort of seat until they are nearly eleventeen years old, five feet tall and 75 pounds. Heck...my wife is barely heavy enough and tall enough to be out of a seat.....but be sure....she's plenty old enough.
the wife is scheduled for an induction Monday morning at 4am. :)
Good luck! Hope everything goes well for you!
Hey! Good luck my man, you'll be daddy before you know it!
I've been a dad for the past 11yrs.
Well there I go again being silly .
My well wishes still stand ;)
thanks
we're very anxious to see them.
They're here!
Calleigh Faith 6lb5oz 18"
Allison Brook 6lb40z 18"
both are very healthy, and momma is doing excellent.

Awsome!!! Glad to see everyone is doing well!! Now the fun begins, my neice is 17 months now and we've had a blast with her!
Congrats! I found out a couple weeks ago I was pregnant and am 15 weeks now. I'm sure you can't wait to get them home. Hope the older brothers are excited!
hey Congrats 32VFoxBird!
Congrats to you as well Crystal :D
Nicole and I had a Dr visit yesterday (Monday) she's 14 weeks and 5 days along, roughly due Feb 24.
We have a 9 month old little boy already. Kids are great, Cole is the best thing to ever happen. Everything else is nothing compared to parenthood.
Again, congrats to you guys!!
Welcome to the world little girls!
Wow..babies babies.... lol... what's in this forum anyway?
Congrats buddy, you sound like a super excited guy ;).
Congrats!! Double the cigars for all!

Very nice! You've got a great looking family!!
Congrats! :D
My wife and I met late in life, and have been trying for the past 3 years with no success. We've tried most everything (IUI, IVF). All that stuff is VERY $$$ and not covered by insurance, so we're now going the adoption route since the likelihood of a child is pretty much 100%. We'll keep trying ourselves, but being weeks from 38 (her) and 39 (me), we don't think a child of our own is in the cards...
While you may not be ready for twins, be glad you have no issues...
Again, congrats to you and your family!
thank you very much. I do treasure and enjoy my children a lot. me and my wife love kids, and spent a lot of our youth around the little ones, too. good luck to the both of you!
BTW, our babies are home now!
Congrats on the newbies! Enjoy that minivan, lol. :D
Are the babies identical? My gf has been bugging me to ask.
no, they're fraternal.
Hey Congrats on the twins!! You should get them a fox Cougar and a T-bird when they turn 16.
No, they're getting chastity belts. :)
my girls will be 4mo at the end of this month! time sure does fly!
here's one of Allison:
