Title: Need rust free lower radiator support (found one)
Post by: daminc on April 12, 2009, 10:51:13 PM
OK, I'm looking for the lower part of the radiator support just under the bumper shocks. needs to be as rust free as possible.
Give me a shout and let me know what's out there. I'm in the wrong part of the country to find rust free in a JY. ;)
This will be the last part that stands in the way of finishing the structure rebuilding.

If you find one, it will be like you set a rust free radiator support on the ground and then built a Cougar around it.

$150 for the whole thing, and $63 shipping. That will be my last resort seeing that I just need the bottom part. they're listed at Rock Auto

LOL
I don't want the radiator support to be the most expensive part of the whole project. I may have only $200 in metal in the whole car. If that

I believe Eric said that the TC core is different than non TC, not sure about the Stang. Also not sure where it is different on the core.

so... if that's the lower rad support, what is this?

I picked this up a couple years ago and assumed that's what this was.

Hmmm.... Almost looks like an upper support from something, with that tag on there.
What does the sticker say on it?

It's actually a ford part number sticker.  I think it was described as a for a mustang...
