Title: Rusty Door :(
Post by: Fnkystuf on April 01, 2005, 02:41:34 AM
My passenger door is getting rusted out underneath the piece of trim. I was thinking about removing the trim and repairing the damage, but it might be a lot of work. I'm going to need to drive it through a couple more Ohio winters, so it might be pointless to do anything now. Has anyone done this? Is it a better idea to just try to find another door?

I can get a door for around $25. My door got dinged in by a fire hydrant. Busted out the window. Now I have one electric window. If your car is rusting the first thing you should do would get rid of that rust. 1 1/2 years ago I didnt have any rust on my fenderwell. Now my fender well is holy. And not in the good way.

it's best to stop the rust rigt now if it is small so it won't get worse.
