We already get Daewoos in the form of the Aveo and the Spark (I think starting next year.)
The aveo yes is also built by daewoo.
Gm's got a long history of collaboration with Daewoo - I had a 1988 Passport Optima (Pontiac Lemans) that was built by Daewoo. It was actually a Daewoo-built Opel Kadette renamed for the Canadian market (with stickers featuring Daewoo's logo and "Manufactured using the worldwide resources of General Motors" on the side windows). This, of course, was before GM bought the bankrupt Daewoo outright in the early 2000's...
We're not getting that. You're looking at a photo of the current Spark sold elsewhere. We'll be getting the new Spark that was designed for North America, and unveiled as the Beat in New York in '07. It'll be competing with the Fiesta.

Ahhhh yeah! Thats the one I was thinking of! Thanks Old Raven!
I would actually buy a fiesta.
(i had to find one in the same putrid green)
The Fiesta is definitely the best looking of the two. It might be the best looking car in that segment.
Considering they're all fugly bubble cars with no personality or flare....
