Title: Tightening up...
Post by: Grumbles on March 22, 2009, 10:44:50 AM
Thinking about dropping a few bills on some stuff to get me a stiffer, more responsive ride.

This is where I'm starting...suggestions?

Traction bars (http://"http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=UPI-1025-R&view=1&N=700+150+4294925044+4294908331+4294907842+4294925130+4294881589+")

Swaybar (http://"http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=ACO-677&view=32&N=700+4294925044+4294908331+4294907842+4294925130")

You dont suppose the traction bars will harm streetability do you?

I would think the traction bars aren't really needed yet. What is your current drivetrain setup?

Che rear control arms and front poly bushings to start.
Turbo coupe sway bars front and rear.
That will clean it up quite a bit.

My Front sway bar on the Sport (same as a TC) is bigger than my friends aftermarket sway bar. They can be had for cheap as well.

Where would I locate TC swaybars though?  No time to junkyard dive atm.

No welder on hand mang, strictly bolt-on applications for the time being.  Also, don't you need to be putting down some serious power for those connectors to even matter?

Then again I'm asking this in the same thread I'm suggesting trac bars in :P

I got these on my car, plus the quads going in.

these cars twist like pasta without SFCs on them. You can watch the space around the door openings change just jacking up the car the slightest bit.

Don't waste your time with bolt-in SFC's. Find someone to weld them in if you don't have a welder.

Oh, and it's a Fox car...they ALL need SFC's...period.
