Title: picked up D&D k-member and coil overs, couple ?

hi all,
picked up a d&d tubular k-member and a arms and coil over kit with lakewood 90/10's for my front end setup. my question is can i use my stock spindles or do i have to get some stang ones? all the stuff i listed above is for fox body mustangs, thanks

i think you had said you have an 84. i belive that means you allready have a fox mustang kmember and arms.

what im asking is can i use my turbocoupe spindles with the d&d setup with the lakewood 90/10/s with coilovers or do i need to buy mustang spindles ? is there any differance? reason i went with the tubular setup is for the weight savings since this is a drag car and so i can use the nice mustang motor mounts. thanks

Turbo Coupe Spindles = Fox Mustang 5.0 Spindles. 11 inch Rotors.

update

installed the k-member and a-arms over the weekend, fitment was desent and i will try to get some pics up here in the next couple days, waiting on the 90/10's and coil overs to finish it up.

darkthunder- you said 11 inch rotors, mine are 10 inch rotors. am i going to run into a problem here? the lakewood struts i bought are for 79-93

errr... . you have an 84 Turbo Coupe. how did i miss that. 87-88 Turbo Coupe spindles are the same as 5.0 Mustangs. yesh you may have a problem, the part of the strut that connects to the spindle on 10 inch is bigger (wider) than that of TC's and 5.0s. less the lakewoods compensate for this (by making the struts wider and pitching in spacers.... which i highly doubt, but still possible.) you are going to need the 5.0/87-88 TC spindles. my apologies. -_-

so say i get the mustang spindles can i still use my 10 inch brakes on them and be alright? i really would hope so since the calipers, rotors,pads,bearing and seals all have less than 50 miles on them.

no. you need everything. spindles, rotors, calipers... sucks i know. maybe you should call lakewood up to see if they'll fit.

update...

the 90/10's showed up, the kit did come with some spacers and it looks like it will all work out fine. its sure a purty lookin setup i must add. i also ordered some maximum motorsport c/c plates and solid motor and tranny mounts. as soon as the front is complete i will post pics.
