the 3.8's have the same style of rockers as a stock 5.0. I am not sure if they would bolt up with no problems, but I would bet they could.
OVERALL DURATION will not be affected.
If you were to measure the durtion @ .050" and .200" you would notice a slight increase in duration at those--and all other intervals--where the valve is actually off the seat.
Increase in overall duration? NO
Increase in potential air intake/exhaust charge within the same given time range? Yes.
Big block chevys and the 460 rockers will interchange, and so will the guide plates.
Just wanted more rocker ratio from 1.6 to 1.73 is the difference i think??? Im slapping a 5.0 ho together with new rings,bearings,ect out of my used parts and gonna throw some nos at it. So kinda piecen stuff together. Gonna port n polish some e-7s today for it.

I have clevland pedestal mount rockers 1.73 they should be same as 460 correct. And overall is this work messing with???
