Well after 36 or so Thunderbirds I have officially become a Cougar owner. Always wanted a T/C but have ended up with a XR7. I bought yellow86cougar's car, he delivered it today and now I have a new toy.

Better than crossing over to GM.I'm a Bird guy,but with our cars,looks are only skin deep,it's all the same under that.

Well when I seen the title crossed over to the side I thought you bought a forien car. Man do I feel stuipid. Glad to hear your still with merc/linc/ford side congrats on the new addition to your family.

Thanks for the hearty welcome to the Cougar side of things. Don't know about it yet looks a bit out of place with all the T-Birds here. Hopefully I can get working on it by the weekend. I havent decided yet if I will drive it and work on it or get it all fixed then drive it.

No idea, but sometimes I feel like if I don't use emoticons no one knows that I'm joking... which is about 3/4 of the time (I do have some horrible natural attraction to controversy though). It must be because I've yet to meet any of you in person yet. Most people who know me well know that I'm usually trying to get a laugh. I've got Chandler Bing Syndrome. But to those who don't I think I come off more like I've got Archie Bunker Syndrome. For the record, I'm way too young to even know who Archie Bunker is (probably younger than half of the people on this board). ;)

LOL!! Looks like the cats win!

Congrats on the purchase! I too had crossed to the other side having owned two 'Birds before the Cat. Of course I also kind of crossed to the other other side monday. Its a GM but its not a chevy and its a '76 so I dont feel that bad lol.

Nothing wrong with a Chevy or any other GM. I own both fords and GM vehicles, and I love both.

The only american cars I wouldn't take if they were free are Mopars. Jerks sold us to the puppiesanese, and then the Germans. no love.

I know, but they really don't have a lot of choice. It was either Fiat or let China build their compacts, as was their previous plan. I'd rather see an Italian Hornet than a Chinese one.
