i own a 87 dps lx built.. i have a intermit dead cyl effect every now and then. cars run very strong .. modds done are -- gt40x303 heads p&p,x303 cam 1.7rr,accufab 90mm ,adj fp reg, 255lph intank, lighting injectors, bypassed hego's,map,iac a/c..,under drives,140a alt,msd dist,frpp 9mm wires , ngk tr5, baster tfi coil, 6al, mac full lenghts, h-pipe no cats, dumped, mini spool 4.10, 11.5 slicks,products of power p&p upper/lower,solid mounts, and as far as i know a stock eec-iv . tremmec t5 king cobra clutch/pp. etc .. ********** problem ***** car is s/d

Am I missing something? Reading though that grammatical nightmare, I see no mention of forced induction or giggle juice. The most optimistic N/A numbers I can find for those heads -- ON AN ENGINE DYNO WITH A HUMONGOUS CAM -- are 375 AT THE FLYWHEEL

Paul, don't be so cynical. I installed a brass tipped rotor and dist cap on my otherwise stock 5.0 SO and wound up with 393 horses at the rear wheels :hick:

Seriously though, people actually come to car enthusiast forums with real issues and ask for help, but while doing so they have to lie about the power/parts they make/have and then wonder why the advice given was not spot on? Honesty and correctness in situations such as this only help thise who are trying to help the person with the issue.
Lightning injectors? WTF does THAT mean? I'm going to assume 24 pounders from an early Windsor motor equipped Lightning. Those, stock rails and stock sized feed and return lines will sufficiently feed those magic parts that make almost 500 to the tires :rolleyes:
