What would they do for the Sport?Lower it,stay the same?Just curious.I have a set in the garage doing nothing right now.
they'll lower it, as they're 2" shorter than stock t-bird springs. ride quality seemed okay, too.
I may do that.It depends on how the front turns out when I'm finished.I think I have shock extensions on the rear air shocks (I use them for the times I buy $600.00 worth of groceries so the Sport won't drag A$$ all the way home).IF I have the extensions,I probably won't need shorter springs once they're removed.Again,we'll see.Right now,any kind of work to be done is focused on the front springs,strut mounts,and a-frames (new ball joints are pressed in and waiting).
Your running air shocks on the rear? When did this happen?

I've always had air shocks on my Birds.Like I said,I raise the rear before I bring home the groceries,then lower it back when I'm done.3 baskets of groceries can really make the rear squat.

Yes,seriously.I don't drive around with the tail end of the Sport up in the air.I keep the car pretty much level.Eventually,I'll get the funds for the new rear control arms and better Stang shocks to use with the ChuckW shock mounts,and hand off the air shocks to someone else.They actually work great,and the car rides great with them.
