I seen one ebay or craigslist before pretty cool that they're still around
Glad it survived this long, but it's ugly.

If you scroll down a 'lil bit you can read a little info on them.
dam, i didnt know there were only 3... maybe when i go back to deliver that hospital bed tomorrow ill leave a card on his windshield lol
Would be nice to have
Yeah...I was told there was only 3 but there may have been more. Still, it's not often that you see one.
I couldn't believe when i found that Bostonian cougar on vacation.
That was butt ugly too..
That makes my day, hail to the truckers, The have the best luck with hot rodding of anyone. The best ways to find deals are to cover ground. Someone should buy that and bring her back to glory! if i didnt have 3 cars already i would like THAT!!
Ok,, I saw one in 1990 on the Memphis TN air station while I was going to A and C school. Thats one,, this post is two,,,,
It was done up with a gold trim package and burgandy paint, black top.
There has also been another posted or owned by a member.
When I lived in NJ I used to see one on a regular basis....Wonder if it's the same car...
It might be, in the last year there's about 4 post about some all in the Jersey area.
Where did you live in jersey?
Pemberton.
O ok, the car is in atco now. Looks like it just sits there...
there was a really beat looking one in Philly a few years ago that rode around alot. haven't seen it in some time though.
that one there is probly the one that was on south jersey craigslist some months ago.
Well here are pics of one of em, I just scored it a few days ago. It needs some brake work and a drivers seat (the guy lost $$$ in it and tore the DS apart). We spent today cleaning the body....

Looks good lots of luck with it
Looks to be in pretty good shape.
Agreed, but let's just say it's "cosmetically challenged". It looks like it could be a classy car, but it looks like something my grandmother would drive. I'm not saying I wouldn't consider buying one, I'm just saying it wouldn't strike fear in my heart if I lined up next to it at a stoplight. lol.
WHY the hell did they do that with the soft top? Material restriction? I don't know if those are something that tend to be farmed out...? Or did they intend to just suffocate the quarter window? :toilet: I don't see why they couldn't have followed the lower edge of the window...I think that would look decent!
Yeah i really agree, choking off the 1/4 windows really kills the look of the car. Its ugly, but its kinda cool at the same time. With the blistering 3.8 under the hood its not gonna win any stoplight drags. We're gonna thrash on it over the winter and hopefully have it ready for a showing at Fords @ Carlisle '10.
Well they're trying to mimmic convertibles and if the car was a true vert, it wouldn't have the regular style windows anyway. Also, actually I think if they did that it would kinda make the soft top portion look like hair with elvis style sideburns.
Okay that's kinda what I figured. :D And good point about the Elvis sideburn effect :rollin: Still not bad, and jandmmustangs yours is extremely clean, take care of her!
Nice car for what it is. Take care of it.
Will do guys. I just hope i can find a gray seat this coming weekend.
I dunno what he was doing. I know he did some landscaping and . He never did tell me if he found the $$$ in the car. That could be a nice suprise.
