Title: Exhaust and glasspacks
Post by: massCougarxr7 on March 01, 2009, 01:09:02 PM
So with the cougar getting ready for the road, i was going to let the beast breath better. I was wondering if headders, and dual exhaust with two glasspacks, would benefit my stock block or not have enough back pressure. thanks for the info. I found shorty headders for 120 bucks, and glass packs are cheap so.......hey why not, my car doesnt have to pass emissions anymore.

There fine at least they got a decent  on them. I don't know about the rust part , there cheap enough not to care. but for total stock your better off with stock ho's for now. there cheap all over.
I could send you a set for 50 shipped.

You can find some used ones for less than half the price of those and there just as good, ebay can be your friend ;)

I'd love to find the guy who coined the term backpressure and punch him in the kidneys until the end of time and all things.

 - Pressure wave tuning
 - Exhaust velocity

Make sure you you have somebody you know inspect the car. You don't have to pass emissions but that DOES NOT mean you no longer require emissions equipment. Get the "wrong" person to inspect and they look under the car they can flunk you.
