in reguards to the front spindles on a 5 lug swap...actually the dust shields. do they make much of a difference:dunno: i was going to yank them off even though they are in decent shape. they kind of seem a little useless. thanks guys...john
I've pulled them off of every one I have done.....
i still have mine...dunno.
i guess its not hurting anything leaving them. i was just curious. thanks guys
The shields are more for water deflection than anything else. Just remeber after you run through a shallow puddle and make a big spray, the brakes may be wet.
Ditched all that stuff for track days...the shields help contain heat which made the brakes run hot. On a street car though you won't notice any gains taking them off.
Bend them out some to help deflect air onto the rotor. Just a thought... :ies:
