Anybody need it?
1977?
humm
that rear tail light looks nice. I need one cause my son busted out the cat white lense part helping me move the white coug.
I wonder if damiac saw this picture of the 1/4...
The reserve for the NOS Cougar light (said it was a '77,but we know better) is $50.00.I was thinking about getting it and selling it if it was cheap enough. No cash now.The Sport needs too much.
I saw it... Unfortunately, the panel would still have to be chopped just below the body line for ease of installation. Don't forget, that if you totally remove the entire 1/4 panel from the car, you then have to ar-align the door jamb, rocker, trunk jamb, inner wheel well, and rear glass area. it wouldn't just snap together so to speak. A body shop would also do the same if the panel was damaged. Whether it was upper or lower damage, they would cut out the section they needed for the repair and toss the rest of the panel. And I know what your thinking.......What if the entire 1/4 was damaged?...... Well, then I would bet that you have
way more problems then just a 1/4 panel replacement.
But it would be nice to have if it was closer.
It would actually be cheaper to have Vinnie chop an entire side off, like FLSTCI71 did for me. Rust free is rust free. and the more parts attached, the better. don't forget, I also used the rocker, bottom jamb and inner wheel well too. Made that repair a lot easier than it should have been..
All right, how many of us are going to fight over that taillight??
I hate to bid against another cougar buddy, but it sure is pretty.
Saw that. Would have got it if I had the funds
If this was a few months ago and I was a *little* crazier I might be bidding on that headlight. Money just isnt there to throw around right now with the bodywork Im geting done. But I have gotten rather insane, ding headlights/turn signals/markers. I have this fear that mine will get broken/yellowed so I want spares :rollin: I have one HL short of two sets of pristine headlights, pretty much the same deal with the outer and inner markers. I have like two inner markers with a NICE lens....and totally worn away reflective coating inside :hick: I stumble upon some for like $10 and I cant pass em up, had one that didnt polish up nice, had one that was only slightly yellowed so it came out GORGEOUS. So for that price Ill take the gamble. Figure why not get what I can ad have em for years later when theyre REALLY hard to find.
looks like the price is creaping up there. I havent bid yet. If your in on it then go for it. My white coug needs it or another one day.
I bid $50.00,and was outbid by someone. No worries,I was going to sell it anyway.
That is the side I need, but then my drivers side will look like in comparison. LOL
