I was driving home today and saw a 93 cougar "predator SS" with v8 badges and white lettered tires. It also said Predator ss on the side by the front wheel.... it looked pretty cool! The guy had his name pinstriped on the door under the middle of the window..
Yea they are pretty badass

Wow i have never heard of these. We had a 94 Cougar with ground effects, spoiler and turn downs tips like that plus the V8 badges. Wonder if it could of been one? It didnt say predator SS on the side but the car was repainted at sometime before we got it. I got to find some pics of it.
you know, there was one of these down the street from a friends house.. its been a really long time so my memory has faded, i believe this one was BRAND NEW when i saw it. the thing is i could have sworn it was a t-bird. perhaps the ground effects etc would fit a mn12 bird too? i think it registers in my mind as a bird bc my cousin had a mn12 supercharged bird and i was thinking "hmm thats like my cousins.." but it was so long ago i could be completely wrong.
Found two pics. They're not the greatest but all i can find.

sorry not trying to hijack this just never seen another car like our old one before.
After the Fox body style,I think the Birds and Cougars lost all their character. But,that's just my opinion.
I see Gen III SHO Five spokes on that one in the second picture. I have to agree Vinnie.
definately agree with ya vinn, i just never saw one before theyre pretty cool, now i want some ove the badges so i can call my 88 project predator.....iffy about the "SS". seems more like a chevy thing, maybe PREDATOR XR7.... yeah thats more like it!!!!!!
There's a red one here in town since new that has Gold trim and says "Viper" on it.Looks the same as that one though.
That one is not a Predator SS. That one has a 94/5 Xenon body kit.
The Predator SS's had a Razzi body kit. Nothing fancy. It was only a dealer installed trim package, no special performance mods.
My own car had a GST body kit with quad exhaust tips from the dealer.
do you think they would have put that dealer only trim package on a thunderbird? im still wondering if it would fit a tbird. i bet if i drove through that neighborhood, if they still live there and have the car i can check if it was a thunderbird.. im prolly wrong about that but i do find it interesting.
Heh, I never paid much attention to the T-bird side of things over at TCCoA. I'm not sure if the Razzi body kit would fit, with the main difference being the front bumper. The sides and rear should fit no problem from like year to like year.
That being said, Xenon makes a nice kit for the T-Bird (identical to the Cougar kit, except for the front bumper). Xenon usually has two options for side skirts, one with a crease (as shown in the pics), and one that is more smooth.
