I am looking for a decent Thunderbird or Cougar body.I have And 87 V6 T-Bird that needs a lot of body work,plus could use some floor pan work.My motor and trans are in very good cond.I stay in Detroit and will travel up to maybe 300 miles to tow something back.Running or nonrunning.Could spend $ up to 500.00.But I only have about a one month window to do this.Tax time.

Well I have found my summer cruiser.Not what I planed on,but I like it.The body is very good and the motor runs great.It needed an exhaust for the cats back.And the overdrive is gone.Who ever had the cac took good care of it.Under coated and under the hood is well kept.So I feel I did good for $680.00 final cost.
Tracking down a trans won,t be hard and the exhaust is done.The arm rest on the door are worn,but the seats just need cleaning.
So thank guys for all the tips tips.

Umm, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but the car you bought is not a Thunderbird or Cougar. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news....
