Would a FMS body kit from a 83-86 fit a 87-88? If not how much custom work would need to be done?

My guess is that the side spats will work.

will work. Doesnt match up to the trim. The trim is higher on 87-88

87-88 T-bird, only the side and maybe the rear piece. The 87-88 front bumper is more pointed than 83-86. Same for Cougar, not sure about the front .

Technically...no, it won't work. Front and rear bumpers are too different. Side skirts won't touch the molding, leaving an unsightly gap.
