Ouch. This poll is rough. Guinness is the full flavoured beer you pick, and Bud is the standard tap ale? That leaves me with a resounding 'OTHER'.

Newcastle Brown, followed by most single malt scotches (most).

Could we try this again, with more inclusive choices?

-Stout

-Full flavour Ale (black&tan/Brown Ale/CO2 free)

-Standard Tap Ale (Budweiser/Canadian/Keith's/MGD)

-Whiskey/Rhum

-White Liquor (Vodka/Gin/Tequila)

-Exotic (Absinthe/Sake)

-Sweets (Schnapps/Irish Cream/Sourpuss)

I refuse to drink (if I was of age of course:hick: ) any Anheuser-Busch product as much as I can.

Living in STL, I feel really strongly about the sell out and how it is going to wound my local economy (like local or nationwide needs ant help right now) even more in the long. I understand that thinking this way will add to the wound (nothing important to them but the moral value to me is) but in the end we will take a huge hit from the sell out.

If I wanted to drink an import I would get one.

I now label Anheuser-Buschproducts as a domestic import.

Say what you want about my views but that is how I feel. We all know that the cuts will be made and more people will be out of jobs. Anheuser-Busch has done great things for St Louis and offers ALOT to us. Now the hospitality is coming to an end.

I have to go with other.

-Not too big of a beer (was on a Stag stage for a while and that really ruined it) fan unless it im playing BP
-Vodka is a good all around liquor for me and mixes with almost everything.
-MD 20/20 (cheap and fast)
-'Shine :mullet:

as far as Beer, I either drink Bud Select, or Warsteiner.

I love Irish Cream Whiskey...lots of and lots of it.
SoCo and Dr Pepper, Rum and Pepsi, and Beam and Pepsi are among my favorite mixes.

I also like Jager bombs...but only with an energy drink called Klone...keep that nasty  red bull(shiznit).\

Of Course, all this is moot, as I usually don't drink anymore.
I'll literally drink a third of a bottle of beer, or maybe a half of a glass of a mix drink, and i get bored or forget about it.lol

Beer - I love Guinness & several lagers. Kirin was my utmost favorite until Anheuser-Busch bought them - now it tastes like  and I have no favorite

Mixed - Raspberry Stoli & tonic

Straight-up - the only thing that really turns me on straight is Courvoisier XO cognac. I used to think VSOP was good until I bought my dad a bottle of the top-shelf XO as a gift. Side-by-side the VSOP tastes like swill next to the XO - who knew? :)

Any number of local, regional, national microbrews.

Faves are browns and ambers, and not so much on the IPAs.  My buddies and I pick up random beers for our weekly getogethers.  The recent popular pic has been Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout...holy balls that is a potent (10%ABV) beer.

My Top 3
-Oaken Barrel Indiana Amber (Indiana-based)
-Barley Island Dirty Helen Brown Ale (Indiana-based)
-Stone Brewery Arrogant

I usually get Newcastle when I'm out as it's usually all I can find.

I don't drink Bud, Miller, or any of that other drivel unless I'm desperate.

I would have voted but my drink isn't listed.

Victoria Bitters.  I've been hanging out with Aussies too long.

Jager Bombs are great. I have never heard of Klone. I have only found a few off brands that taste good with Jager. Alot of the others dont have the "sting" of Red Bull that I think makes it.

1 big bottle of Guiness on Saturday night, while at my computer chatting.  Coors light at deer camp.  Lienie's Red in a frosted Mug at the local watering hole (which I haven't been to in about 7 years now).  And Michelob Honey Lager with a twist of lime in the hottest days of summer.  Otherwise the mainstay is Sam Adams when it involves more than 1.  Others I've tried and liked:  Urquell Pilsner, Chimay, Mississippi Mud Black and tan, and Stone Imperial Russian Stout.  I havern't tried the Newcastle yet, but it looks like maybe I should.  I quit the hard stuff some years ago, now.....cars and trucks have occupied my money ever since, lol.

I had to choose other. For me it is usually whiskey. Woodford Reserve or Makers Mark are my choices. I also like to enjoy a good Cognac. For New Years I got a bottle of Remy Martin 1738.

Wow ... a topic i know a bit about. LOL

I prefer local breweries over almost all other beer ive tasted (its been a lot, in a bunch of different countries)

My favorite stout is guiness though.  It goes down like water for me.  My favorite loca brew is Ale Assylum "Gold Digger".  Unfiltered at its finest.  If any of you are going to be at Cat Jam this year, I can bring some if need be.  Its worth it for sure.

I have a first batch from Noe Booker's reserve still unopened.  Been waiting for the right moment.  My marriage wasn't one of them, lol.  Maker's Mark is really smooth.  I cut my teeth on gallons and gallons of Jim Beam.
