Title: WTB 87-88 AOD shift cable for floor mounted shifter

As the title says I'm in need of a shift cable for a floor mounted shifter in a 88 Thunderbird. Must be willing to ship if outside of Wisconsin.

Those are like gold to floor shift owners.If you can find more than one,keep them.I just sold mine a short time ago.I'll see what I can find for you.Ask Kitz.He did have one or two if I remember right.

I do, but it's hooked to a shifter, kinda makes the shifter useless without it.

Buy the shifter and cable,as I said,those are getting super hard to find for a V-8 car.

Vinnie, I read a post of yours that said you've had problems with other cables from different cars, care to go into details like from which cars you've tried and any shifting problems. For the time being, park, reverse, and overdrive would be a success.

I tried Turbo Coupe cables and Mustang cables,and none of them worked right for my car.That's why Ford made this cable for the V-8.Otherwise,they could've just used one "universal cable" for them all.
