Title: EGR Pipe
Post by: CatCarMan2012 on January 14, 2009, 11:33:38 AM
So I have a Mustang 2.5" H-Pipe and the EGR pipe is too short. I can't find a good mustang EGR pipe in the pick-n-pull (they are all cut).  What can I use to extend the pipe?

Someone said heater hose but I think it will melt.  Any ideas?

There is special egr hose for that.
Used heater hose on mine in a pich and it did work.
Just unclamp it at the h-pipe and install the hose then reinstall the pipe.
Mine has been fine for years.

I use heater hose on 2 of my cars-never had a problem with the hose melting.
