Is a fuel pressure regulator the same as a fmu? if not what is the differance?

basically its a fuel pressure regulated by boost.

concur, w/ 32V....before there was a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator, the Fuel Management Unit (FMU) would sense boost and spike the fuel pressure to the injectors. It is old technology and should not be available for any newer boosted applications, unless vortech is still using them.

so for a nitrous setup or h/c/i i should use the fuel pressure regulator instead of a fmu.
