After looking at tons of valve covers to use on my bird, I finally settled on refurbishing the set that I already had. Check 'em out. EBAY and elbow grease are beautiful things.
Decal $3.00

Simple and effective.Very nice work.I like 'em a lot.
yeah wicked!!!!!!!!!!
Nice job, HO valve covers are actually pretty nice if they only had some sort of ID like you did with yours.
:headbang: Badass man
hope the heat doesn't kill 'em
Those look pretty cool. Post up another pic after they're installed.
Throw a good coat of high temp clear on them. They will be fine.
Is the Bird with you Down Under? If so, is it now RHD?
(Sorry about the thread hijack)
Simple but looks like something out of the 50s or 60s not a bad thing since they made the T-birds back then looks good and simple and the price you can't beat for something one of a kind good work.
Actually, I just finished the valve covers a few days before I flew out to the great OZ. They are coated w/ VHT Oven Bake clear coat and they just completed baking. I finally got my House Hold Goods after a 3 month wait, the pics were in the camera. The valve covers are already installed and I will not be home again until later this year. Maybe I could hit Cat Jam if all of the planets are aligned. I should be planning right now. The US GVT owes me a plane ticket home after being overseas for >3 years consecutive......HMMMMMMM.....(sounds of gears turning, sticks rubbing, TIRES SPINNING!!!) I'll look into it!!!
