Title: Another Lincoln Mercury dealership bites the dust.
Post by: CougrrrFiveO on December 23, 2008, 08:30:03 PM
This is the dealership I got laid off from on October 31st. They just closed the doors forever. The LM franchise was sold to a local Ford dealer so now it is an FLM store. Makes sense in a way, but puts a lot of people out of work. A LOT of people here were 10, 20, 30+ year employees and there is no spot for them at the FLM store.

Oh, and Northeast was still #1 year to date in the region for new car sales. Go figure.

Saw where someone posted this on YB. Bad deal. You got laid off on my birthday too. Sorry. That wasn't what I had asked the Great Pumpkin for this year.

, i hate to hear anyone getting sent down the road.  Times arent that easy either for a guy with skills.  I tell you the truth, our gov't isnt going to be happy until america makes nothing but burgers and change at the registers across the land.

That sucks To hear that! Maybe you should find some work at a parts store. STill Auto related and with no one buying new cars these older ones are gonna be needing parts soon. Hope things work out for you!
Oh and Turbo 88 your Birthday is one week after mine!
