I was surfing through Ebay (a daily ritual),and noticed the Thunderbird lights went from $130.00 a pair to $140.00 per pair.Get 'em while you can.

But my lights are already clear ;)
Mine,too.They're new !!!
Didn't someone say there was an outlet for them at about $40 each?
I'd like to know where.I would buy a set as extras.
mine are clear also but wouldnt hurt to have a spare set
Ok....I found what I was told.....
For headlights try a place like fordparts.com and use p/n E7SZ-13007-A & E7SZ-13007-B. This will give you the same thing as ebay, which is the lens and you may or may not need new adjuster screws depending on if they disintegrate when you R&R. Price should be about 45$.
Now for the good part. "Fordparts.com" is no longer good. So I did some digging around and I found this.....
http://www.bowenscarff-fordparts.com/index.html
Lord help me....I used the part numbers I was given above at this other site I found and it lists.....
1 OEM Catalog
BULB ASY HD/LMP-RH $0.00 $41.87
1 OEM Catalog
BULB ASY HD/LMP-LH $0.00 $41.87 with $9.25 shipping to me here in Texas. So I ordered a pair.
cross your fingers
Fordparts.com is now http://www.tituswillfordparts.com They were the dealer running Fordparts.com
"
Maybe, but http://www.newfordparts.com still works ;)
As of the time of this post the price is $46.52 USD each sans bucket/adjusters....
With the adjusters and bucket assembly:
Interestingly, the 87-88 Cougar lenses AND composite assemblies are both shown as available now, albeit at much higher than their T-bird brother's prices.
When I was shopping, they were unavilable and I had to get one sourced from the shelves of a dealership in Texas.
More part# info for the headlamps here: http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=18464
I read the other thread and it just served to confuse me. So...what I just ordered. That is the clear lens AND the housing with the hole for the bulb, but no adjusters? That right?
correct. ;)
Whew:hick: For a minute there I thought I :bangford: and everyone would :makefun: cause I made a :ies:
I feel much better now:cool:
I'll let everyone know when they show up and how they look.
