Title: '88 Turbo Coupe on eBay
Post by: cougarcragar on December 17, 2008, 06:18:28 PM
This car is literally five minutes from my house.

I may be wrong, but I think it has every possible option. It's a shame it's so trashed. The bid made it to $500 and he still had a reserve on it. I wouldn't pay $250 for it, especially when it needs everything.

That car is good for parts to do a TC suspension/brakes/8.8 upgrade and not much else. Holy  that thing's rough! He says the mould inside is due to the missing inner door panel. I say it's probably due to a leaking moonroof. Either way, you'd never get the funk out of the inside of that car.

He claims that one strut tower has rusted through. Well, based on that logic, I would say the entire car is done-for; I'd hate to see the other three.

I'd buy the  thing for $50 and part it out if I had the room. Actually, I'd like to go harvest all of the good parts from it and give him some cash.

Be interesting to see why it sits so low in the rear, too. Rear frame is probably gone, too.
