Print Page - door latch sensor

I need a sensor like the one in the pic. It screws into the door latch, and a single wire plug connects to it. If they're not the same for each side, I need the one for the passenger door.

Not sure, just know I need another one. The one in the pic is broken even though it doesn't look like it.

My guess is it senses when the door opens.

I just looked on 2 different sets of doors.
Nothing on either set. not even on the doors with the courtesy light package.
Sorry, Mabe they stopped that in 87
