Title: 87 turbocoupe
Post by: turboranger91 on December 07, 2008, 10:42:24 PM
alright.  i'm tired of looking at this thing.  the car currently doesn't run, but it  has all the parts to put it back together.  i'm just tired of looking at it sitting in my driveway.  i never have the time to work on it, so it might as well go to someone who does.  whoever decides to buy it would need a way to tow it out of here.  other than the fact that it needs to be put back together, there's nothing wrong with the car... in fact, it's in great shape.  i'd like to get $1100 for it.  let me know if you're interested.

The price is not set in stone. There are a few mods to it, not much though. They were all done by the previous owner of the cas who is a member here. It's got a cable clutch, t3 swap, boost control valve, 3.73 gears, and a couple other miscellaneous things. The car is in kc.

Is that the one that used to be in Ohio, that was painted a GM blue? I used to drool over that one.

(sigh) If I only had a place to put it...
I don't have the time to work on it, but I have the cash to pay someone to :D

Why was the car taken apart anyway? Were the heads worked on, turbo rebuilt? Anything?

nice looking ride but for the life of me i cant see a car coming from the land of salt/snow not having rust issues on the underside.

I dont know much about the car so i am assuming.

i actually bought the car from tc2 in ohio.  it's been a little over a year, but the car was never driven in the snow at all.

i initially took it apart because i tried running a bit too much boost and popped the hg.  i took it apart one day with the intention of finishing the job, but got side tracked in something else.  i've just never finished up on it.
