Title: rear end problem?

i just got my 3:73 gears and that wont go evenly on my  Borge warner traction lock from a 85 turbo coupe. any ideas how to fix that problem.

Won't go just barley??  Heat the ring gear in a oven to about 200
degrees then remove and quickly slid onto the carrier.

Yeah, I think he's missing it just barely...as measured by one grain of barley.  lol, j/k...

I've never had a problem with ring gears not fitting right...what brand did you get?

ford oem ring and pinion from a ford aerostar van with a 7.5 rear end.
