Never heard of one. Probibly just some guy that wanted to build something different. I lmost of it. I have always thought that when I have a family, and if we have to get a mini van (parents have full sized) it will be amazing. I rather go full size but either way it will be anything but stock.

****If you are into collectible and custom vehicles this ‘96 Saleen Ford Windstar is one to collect. This van was designed and built by non other then TIM ALLEN from Tool Time!!!! R R R!!!****

That is more believable. He is a Ford guy, he drove an SHO in The Santa Claus(not conformed if that was his choice or not). But the speakers in the back? Not up to par with the rest of the car.

Yes haha I remember reading about that in MotorTrend actually. I was like I dunno 10-12 years old and thought it was cool....made me think my mom's 1993 *v6* Limited Explorer was hot stuff because it had pinstriping cool wheels and a different looking grille and stuff

Back when I was in the Porsche Club I went to Austin for an event down there. While wandering around I hear this......racket....pulling in. I look up, and it was a first gen Dodge (cargo) Minivan that belonged to a sponsor of the event. When he parked I went to have a look. This thing had a supercharged 2.2, with Mikuni carbs, and TWO 10 pound NITROUS bottles behind the driver's seat. ed thing sounded like it was going to explode.....it sounded fast!

Q:  What kind of paperwork, photos that will authentic the car? Dec-01-08
A:  The winning bidder will recieve a letter from Tim Allen, along with a letter from Saleen, confirming the Van being a one-off prototype. Tim will sign the dash, if the winning bidder wants. The winning bidder will also recieve photos of Tim with the van. Thanks for your interest, it truely is a super cool van!
looks like the real deal

In the title, it's referred to as an S281....more like S232...lmao...probably the sweetest minivan I've ever seen.
