Ran a 15.09 @91mph? with a 2.179 60' I don't have the slip with me and computer is down. The trans shifts way too high and probably cost me time. When the new exhaust is on, high 14's are within reach.
Not bad. Seems like you're losing speed on top end. What's your combo? I see in your sig: Performer upper, 70mm bbk (throttle body i assume), but the original fake duals? Just sounds like the car has some slight mismatch problems; what cam and heads are you running?
Throw a h-pipe on there with some tails and not flow master lers. What sized tires do you have?
Losing on top end? It looks like top, middle, bottom :mullet:
It picked up a whole 1 mph :rollin:
Even with the converter, it seems as if this car likes to creep forward unless you stand on the brakes. A 60ft time under 2.10 would be good for this et, but the rear end is noisey and might not hold up. The converter/trans did help drop about .15 sec in the 60ft and .5 sec in the 1/4 even though the shifts aren't right. The 1-2 shift was too high and could have occured over 6000rpm. The other trans' valve body seemed better than this one and might be tried instead. :D
What about JBA headers, UPR x-pipe, Borla XS lers and Flowmaster tails? Maybe +2mph or +3mph at best lol. At least it would sound fast. :rollin:
The tires might be funnier than the factory exhaust, Futura p215/70r14 or something like that :rollin:
get some better tires... Flowmasters are the 2nd worst flowing ler money can buy. Get magma flows or whatever there called.
