I didn't see a thread introducing new members, so I thought since I was going to be irritating you guys with a d of questions, you should at least know a little about me.
A couple months back I bought an 87 TBird TurboCoupe from a buddy who was letting it rot away in his back yard. Its got a 2.3L, and as far as I can tell, a full load including "premium sound" (which I have now gutted out and started replacing with real premium components) and climate control. No t-top or moon roof, but I don't know if these were even available in 87. Body's starting to rot out, so I'll be getting busy on that soon.
Otherwise, the car doesn't appear to be in too bad a condition. Its got some electrical gremlins that I need to sort out, but the auto ride control appears to work just fine, as does the climate control. Its fun to drive, and I've been enjoying it thoroughly, as long as I'm not searching for a boost or tow. :beatyoass:
Now a bit about myself: I come from a diesel performance background. I owned a diesel performance shop in the late 90s and into the new decade (shut 'er down in 2004 due to health problems). We used to design custom ram air intakes, fuel systems, and worked with a gentleman out of Texas developing custom fuel injectors and twin turbo systems.
Anyway, thot I'd introduce myself. I haven't driven a gas engined vehicle in decades, so expect some really dumb questions :)

Welcome aboard, Lets see some pics of your bird...
I'm more of a body repair guy then an elec/ motor guy, but this is the best place around to ask for any kind of electrical and mechanical help.
Remember, there are no dumb questions. Just dumb answers. LOL
Welcome.
Welcome, Rod and thanks for bringing another Fox :birdsmily: back to life. ;)
welcome to the site!
Welcome!!
Welcome to Board.
Welcome!
(Now post up some pics.)
Welcome. Except for the diesel part, I thought I was rereading my first post:D
Welcome to the board! Just drop a 4BT right in there, and you'll be good to go!
:rollin: Don't think the thought never crossed my mind. I know I can get 350 HP out of one, just not sure if a spring and shock upgrade exists :rollin:
I'll crank off a couple pics this weekend. Nothin' special about the old girl, but I'm gonna get it running good first, then worry about ponys and cosmetics...
Rod
