Title: Canton or Moroso oil pans ?
Post by: HAVI on November 28, 2008, 10:17:23 AM
For those with swapped in engines, 351C's in particular, do the Canton or Moroso oil pans allow for much clearance above the stock  K-member and power steering rack?  This is in my 1987 TC.

Chuck W mounts to hold the block at stock height, I assume.  And I believe the sway bar has to be lowered about an inch.

anyone have this style pan that can measure the block mating surface to the bottom of the pan?

I've posted on Stangnet with no results either.

the moroso pan i bought for the 347 fit terrible. hit the pump, the pick up tube and the pickup screen. i finally got it to work after 'modifications'. i know i wont buy a moroso pan again. that was unforgivable.
