Title: Parting out 87 bird.
Post by: Haystack on November 27, 2008, 11:49:14 PM
I'm parting out a 87 bird. It has good taillights and head lights. I need the inner park ones that go against the grill. It had a 5.0 in it, I may or may not keep the motor mounts unless I get a decent offer on them. Interior sucks, minus the dash. Standard dash cluster, 122k miles. Good doors, trunk and fenders with minor dents. Car is a light green in color but was initially white. I will be stripping it tomorrow or the next day, and can get pics of anything you might need.

Are the headlights clear, or opaque like mine?

Are any of the engine related compents in it? Or the engine harness. Was it a floor shift?

I can sell some engine parts, but the bulk will be going into my new bird. Engine harness would be alot of work, and it was colum shift. The headlights are old and would need to be re-finished.

the tranny lines I broke last night from pulling out the old engine sorry. I didn't get to the car today, had some stuff at home to take care of. I'll get everyone pics of everything tomorrow. Vinnie, I'm not sure how good of shape the tail light is in, but I'll send you a pm asap after looking at it.

Yeah...unless you have/had a TC bumper on there...

Any chance the fuel lines are intact and feasible?

what extent of the fuel lines? I do believe they are all there front to back. I would like to keep the fuel rails to make the swap easy when summer comes around.

I screwed up the fuel lines... There good to the fuel filter from the engine. The one that bypasses the filter I acidentally cut trying to get it lose.

Also, Vinne, your tail lights has some pretty good spider webs on it... If you need something to get by for a while it will work, but it would look shiznitty with new paint... I'll get pics for everyone else tomorrow. I'm working in two hours and just got home...
