Post by: trose1832 on November 22, 2008, 11:55:34 AM
:punchballs: I made contact with the overdrive wire while replacing the gear shift and I killed my ATC. The blower still works but only at one speed. I replaced the ATC control panel with a used one but still the same result. The lights come on that display the different fan directions but the temperature L.E.D. doesnt work. My rear defogger is also on the fritz. PLEASE HELP MEEEeeeeee.......

this is a 97 cougar just incase anyone here is wondering what this guy is talking about,,per his profile.

I would first check for any blown fuses.  The EATC in our fox body cars have two fuses powering the ATC module.
