Title: h4 lights

hi i have a 86 bird  its a 4 eye and i want to upgrade the healights and came across all those h4 conversions kit on ebay and i was wondering what are the city lights that come with them its a lil blue light  whats the use for city lights, also have any of you 4 eyes owner done the conversion  where u got the kit and all  any info would be greatly apreciated

On a similar note, I had considered doing an HID bulb conversion since I already have the H4's. but after reading this, I decided to stick with what I have for now.

Personally, If you do the upgrade for more lighting power, go with some E-code lights. You can get them from rallylights.com, which are authentic hella lights, or you can get these off of ebay, which are European aftermarket replacements, similar to what we get in auto parts stores:

The advantage of E-code lights is that they have a sharp cut off, where the light doesn't go above a certain point. This means you can run a high powered bulb, but not blind oncoming drivers.
