Title: carpet removel

trying to figure out how to remove the carpet from under the front dashboard heater control unit its stuck there with no clearance

I loosened up the dash and lifted it slightly while my wife pulled the carpet out.Installed the new carpet,installed the dash hardware (6 or 8 fasteners) and done.
