I think if I waited another week the leaves would've been gone.
This car really has come a long way from sitting abandoned behind a body shop.

Here's new interior pics. I decided to go back factory (almost) all grey in the interior, I put in new carpet from ACC, and a 3 spoke wheel from a Mercury Capri.

This is what it looked like in March of 2007 when me and my dad bought it for 475.00, and pulled it home with a tow rope. The only saving grace was that it was a straight, rust free California car with a clear title. It didn't have keys though.

Great Job, Matt now all you need to do is come to CJ 09 and let us checkout your ride. Nice Pics Dude !!! :headbang:
rha I wish I could find one for that price, that clean.
my 540 dollar one wasnt NEAR that nice, nor is the new 700 dollar one. But hey, its all fun and games, but if you go to cj09 be ready, your not gonna be the only mark, and I promise ill give you a run for your money
That looks great.Just look back at all the work you've done. After sanding on the Sport for 4 hours yesterday,I was getting a little nostalgic about how far it's come as well from the $250 salvage yard car.Good times.....goooooood times.
did you delete the cruise control?
Looking good :D
You stuck a 70mm MAF housing and F2VF sensor on didn't you? How do you like it? ;)
Well it wasn't working to start with, but it went away for good when I converted it to MAF. 88+ Mark VIIs run the cruise control through the engine computer.
It's working out just how I thought it would. I definitely recommend it for a cheap upgrade. ;)
You mean the control module functions are IN the ECU?
My Cougar runs the cruise through the ECU -- still works after a SD HO conversion and then a MAF conversion....
Yep, the cruise functions are in the engine computer. Why they did it, I have no idea.
I know some people who did the MAF conversion that have two ECMs just to keep the cruise. One to run the engine and the other just to run the cruise.
