Post by: turbot-bird on November 02, 2008, 09:09:03 PM
Anyone have any pic or specs of a back halved 83-88 bird? I have an Idea that my gf likes and want to see how people have done it before.  :burnout:

Ah hes talking about cutting out the rear of the car and installing a total different style rear setup. Its what most real serious drag racers do so they can dial in better traction off the line. Adjusting the pinion angle they can dial in how had the rear ishiznit on initial take off. Also kinda boxing in the rear so you have much less side to side give. At the same time cutting out the rear inner fender wells a tubing it out
