Dad and I worked on fixing a pretty big...well, mostly annoying issue with the Tbird that has popped up after the last couple of changes to it. See if you can tell what it is!

I sure hope you can all tell the difference now!!!
NICE. Definitely x2 on the last pic. That works great. As you said, the wheels really do fit the car now.
spacers behind the rear wheels.
He should take care of this but I'll do it for him :D
Nope, aint that. Look at the first pic he posted, then the last one. Only look at those two. :D
O man I cant wait to see it this summer on my road trip!!
It looks AMAZING!! Good job man!!
still dont see it. i still love this car though
Aww, come on folks. I haven't even seen the car in person for months, but it's OBVIOUS what he's done to it.
He repainted the upper intake!
Looks mucho bettero, dude! :rollin:
Good looking car,but I can't see what you've done.What is it?
Sorry for the lackluster pics, guys. This before and after should clear things up:

You guys are on the right track with rear spacers, but kinda thinking the wrong way around.
I still don't see it. What is it?
you washed it
I guess nobody has noticed the ~1.5 inches removed from the front tire to fender clearence ;)
It's ok, though, I still havent been able to get a SINGLE clear picture of the car since we finished and the only camera around is horrible compared to the normal one I use.
Take a look at these pics:
Note the HUGE gap between front tire and fender.
Now note the same gap in this pic:
Or this pic, if you can see the gap:

I guess it's hard to tell with so much black in that area with the pics being from different heights and angles
But I guess I can see the difference now that you mention it.
Yeah the py digi cam isn't helping. Tomorrow I should be able to use the good one and it'll be much clearer (and i'll get to take pics in the afternoon!).
ah, i see it. it does look much better...
Yeah, after the T5 swap, we noticed she was sittin a little higher in the front. Then the new wheels just made it way worse. Put a set of stock 2002 Mustang GT springs in the front and lowered her just right. The rear springs are still stock at the moment. I'll probably keep them as-is for the time being. I like the slight bit of rake.
I guess I didnt notice it because mines still lower than that on stock springs:rollin:
You didnt happen to go from an AOD to a T5 either, did you?
I see it now. Yeah that looks a lot better. The T5 really is a lot lighter, I think it only weighs 75 lbs. :hick:
Yeah, you're right. All the weight that was dropped resulted in the car sitting a good bit higher than stock, and the bigger wheels just multiplied the effect. Now with the Mustang springs, she's back where she was before the swap and wheels.
97 in a plastic crate
so around 92-95 ish pounds ;)
u also have a 4 banger
he has a 8
Yeah, so your springs were already set up for that weight. Mine were set up for the AOD, hence the horrible ride height it had after the swap. Oh well, it's fixed now!
It's Fall!
^^^^^ BEST POST EVAARRRR :rollin: :rollin:
Finally got some good pics; check em out guys.
Awesome. Glad ya finally updated the sig too!!! :P
blah, blah, blah. where's the new motor pics? :beatyoass:
