Title: Thunderbird parts
Post by: jpc647 on November 01, 2008, 09:59:13 PM
I have a 1987 thunderbird sport. The drivetrain has been taken out, but there are some usable parts remaining. A lot of interrior parts are left as well as body moldings and hood/ trunk. Post up requests of what you need and ill let you know if its any good. Car had a full digital dash and the engine harness is up for sale to. The dash pad is mint, so im keeping it.

I'm not looking to make a lot of money here, im more than reasonable on the prices.

I also have a 1988 v6 engine and harness for sale. The engine runs good, with 80k miles on it. Head gasket was redone about 2 years ago. I'm keeping the alt. but if someone needs valve covers or anything, let me know. Also the egr stuff the brass looking circle and the little box that controls it are about 4 months old. I have the reciept, they were over $150 together. Make me a reasonable offer.

Car is in central mass, mass

I also have an 87 5.0 EEC harness if you need it. I know they go for around 125-130, how about $85?

Also have a set of american racing ar-39 wheels. Those "hotwheels" wheels. $250. Pics availible

I need the lower dash moldings that go on either side of the steering column.

I also need the piece that goes below that and covers the fuse area-ish.

What shape are the window channel weatherstripping?  Mine is completely shot.  This is what the window rolls up into...

Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm in Lincoln, NE 68526

thanks!

Alright, I found the trim pieces you requested. Two are blue, and one is grey. The bottom one which connects the two is grey. There is no visual damage.  If you give me your email, I'll attach a picture of them to confirm. My email if jpc647@charter.net

As far as the window channels, I know the car doesn't leak. But I'll have to have to explain how they came out, I have broken them before in the boneyard. Also, the car is being "used" to hold spare parts, but I'll be getting rid of it in a couple weeks once my engine swap project is done. Thats when I'll remove these, I dont want the car to start leaking all over my parts.

How are the door panels, Armrests, Door Speaker Covers and the little basket (gone brain dead, can't think of what you call that) that connects at the bottom of the Door Speaker Covers.

Tail lights and complete headlights with park and turn signal.

The door panels are in okay shape... They are not like turbo coupe ones... but normal ones. The armrests on the door to my knowledge were good. The speaker cover were in decent shape, as well at the map pocket.. I'll gather the pieces together this weekend send you a pic, and a price.

Sorry no headlights or tailights... they were used on my 88.

Looking for a full digital dash instrument cluster.  Wonder if the 1987 is the same as the 1985.

The window channel weatherchannel strips aren't in good shape. they are pretty cracked, and I noticed the passenger side one does drip(not a bunch but a little) in the heavy rain we had today.

Are you just looking for the gray piece now? Is there anything else? Are you sure you don't want the two blue pieces?
