Title: 88 turbo V6 coug on ebay
Post by: jcassity on October 27, 2008, 03:13:49 AM
question to seller now on this possible error.  I cant wait for a response as well , a reason to make them lower the price.  Nice car though but still odd of a dealer making such a huge mistake.

I bet its just a normal v6. Due to where its a console shift car, I think the seller, like most people on ebay don't know anything about our cars.

I missed a call on my work liine and Evon Fields is the seller and she indicated that the turbo charged v6 is stamped on the top of the motor.

Ill call tomorrow while im on the road.  Gotta  head back to Indianapolis  In and surrounding area for the rest of the week.

I'd be willing to bet it says "Fuel Injected V6"

"TURBO" is stamped on my seat belt covers.
That's gotta be good for a few more horsepower! :hick:

I talked with the owner today.  She says her husband told her to make sure the ad says this turbo stuff.

She told me she would have her daughter pop the hood and find out what her husband was explaining.  I told the owner that it likely says fuel injected v6.  I also said to her that if it does say this ,, the price of her car needs to come down greatly or no one will pay that for it.

I also told her that the add descrepency will give someone leverage in backing out of a deal.  She was greatful for the phone call and I also pointed her our way to get the car sold here easier than ebay.  She seems to think she has a very expensive and rare car.  I would agree to a certain level but a dealer badge adder with a nice roof cover doesnt put much if anything on the value of this car.  A 20th anny would hold more value leverage than a Night Cat.

I asked she put up a pic of under the hood and update the add if its incorrect.

I think now would be a decent time to make offers ,, Id say its no less than a 1500 dollar and in such good shape and a v6 being its downside.

Ohhhhh haha this one that's been on a couple times. Never noticed the "turbocharged engine" HAHA. Nice-lookin cat! Aint worth 5k tho sry....if it was more reasonable that would definitely sell well, it's in good shape.
