Title: get out your checkbook

This is hard to believe.  Our Big 3 auto manufacturers are seriously hurting!  Whats next Chevy sells the Corvette name and Ford sells the Mustang name (or worse Thunderbird)?

I have not considered Chrysler part of the big three since Daimler owned them it was no big surprise when they were first sold to Cerberus. So it comes as no surprise that they now want to offload Chrysler (or the viper brand) wouldn't you want to get rid of a money pit? I am not sure on the actual numbers but i would not be all that surprised if they had not posted profits for quite a while and the recent recession has scared Cerberus.
