Title: LSC 5 lug rotor question.
Post by: TommyT on October 21, 2008, 06:41:05 PM
Just curious to know how a 17 x 8 SN95 wheel will fit on the front of my 84 TC with 87-88 TC front spindles if I use the LSC rotors to do the 5 lug conversion.  Will the front wheels stick out past the fender lip?  Also, is the SVO front rotor the same as this without ABS?

Thanks in advance for the replies.

You should be fine Tommy.

My OLD black '83 had the Fox 5-lug conversion on with the Lincoln/SVO rotors.  We were only using 16x7 wheels, but we had wide 245/50 tires on it and didn't have any issues.

The SN-95 spindles on my silver car actually push things out further than the Lincoln/SVO stuff does.

The ABS should be the only diff in the rotors.

depend on the wheel. cobra r's, bullitts, anything with a small centercap will not clear the dust cap.

Here's a pic of a Bullitt wheel, on my old Cougar, with Mark rotors. The dust cap sticks out too far to install the center cap.
