Title: C5 governer bypass/removal

Is there a way to remove or bypass the governer from a c5 trans. Im not looking to go fast but on the dyno Id like to be able to do a  full pull without the governer getting in the way.

I looked through the list of 161 parts in the 84 shop manual for the C5. I see nothing called a governer.
Some come with a "converter clutch torque converter". Depending on what vehicle they were put in.

erm... my c5 trans doesnt stop me doing anything in my car.  so i am unsure of the governer you are refering to.
