Getting ready to paint my 87 and figured I would ask before removing the interior trim. There is a bird emblem on the c pillar which I am assuming has a couple nuts inside the panel but would rather find out if its double sided tape before taking off the interior trim. Thanks
Yes, it's a couple of nuts inside the C-pillar. Be careful when you remove them that you don't drop them, else they'll end up in the nether regions of the car, never to be seen again
Thanks I figured as much, I dropped a socket in my kids (83) when I was taking off his coach lamps before I painted that one. Ended up taking out the the rear seat and lower panels just to get it out. While were chating how hard is it to make the tail lights sequential as I see in your sig? My 65 Birds have it, and maybe if feesable I will do it to this 87.
The sequential lights are really easy.I had a small problem at first, then realized I read the instructions wrong. They are plain, simple, and straight forward.Get the kit and install it.
At least you got your socket. When I dropped a nut it went in between the body stampings, where it shall remain for all eternity. Luckily I had spares from the parts TC :hick:
As for the sequencers: What Vinnie said :D It's about as hard as installing a car stereo...
Thunder Chicken sells a sequencer for out cars. I have one and it's top notch stuff. It took me all of an hour to install it.
I dropped one of my cougar nuts down there, and only ended up using 2 on one side.
LOL , I just read that back to myself. I crack myself up sometimes. :rollin:
