decided to two tone the turbo coupe
that duplicolor ready to spray stuff is not too bad
needs to be sanded and 2 more coats of clear then itll be good
ill take some day pics soon
looks good.... is that spray bomb? or did you actually spray it? cant wait to see day pics...
If it's spray cans, wow how many was it?
didn't know they had it in regular cans.
but I guess they do on their site
I once prayed the side of my car (not this one) using duplicolor.
1 fender took a couple cans but it came out almost factory looking
it is the new duplicolor paint shop it comes in quarts ready to spray it took two quarts of red the black is factory paint
but now u can see in the day it needs more clear!
Very sharp!! :burnout:
what gun are you using?
do you reduce it to paint?

Looks good! I dont like red and black or blue and black but that doesnt look too bad at all
I think it looks good man. Diggin' the wheel/tire combo too.
looks cool! Trick or Treat!!
That's not my first choice of colors, but I think you did a nice job on where to two tone it. Please post up some more pics when you get some more clear on it. I have to be honest, even though I'm not really a fan of orange, I'm liking it. Pretty cool.
yea u should have reduced it.it only took me less than a qurt do the black on robins car....if u have any orange peel in there ud be surprised what a wet sand would do .clear it again and then wet sand and buff.and ull be good ...it looks great by the way
You should respray the factory red stripe on the rubber molding to match the top. I think that it would bring it together nicely. It's hard to pull off a red and black two tone and have it look right. Maybe even paint the red stipe black and use a silver pin-stripe to break the red and black. One or the other, just my opinion. I like it, though. I want a set of wheels like that for strip use. If I could ever find time to do some real racing.
Yea thats crazy cuz thats what i plan on doin the bottom stripe is goin black and i ordered a silver metallic stripe for the line!! thanks everyone for the comments
I agree that you need a pin stripe of some kind to break up the two body colors, but, the car looks great.I like a car that isn't over done, but still stands out....in a good way.Good job.
I like it. Paint the bottom with black paint as well.
Looks good forget pinstripe just paint the hood scoops Black or you could paint the spoiler black. Just throwing ideas out there looks great just needs some accents.
no yellow?
He's saving yellow for the V8 car.
the yellow could be for my v8 but will see
man that looks great! I was thinking about doing a 2 tone on mine a while back but was wondering where I should cut it in half. Now I know!
Now I just need to think of some colors..
Looks good.
You tue-toned it along the same line that the factory tue-tone cars use. Ask how I know ;)
