They're recalling 30M tires because of a shiznitty Valve stem? Using this logic, should they recall the wheels too?

No but maybe the lug nuts... Would make as much sense...

I suspect it's poor research on the writers part(so what's new?), they will no doubt be looking for the valves, can't see that tires have anything to do with the problem...

How would you recall valve stems? Would you know the difference?

If your valve stem comes apart and you go off the road and die, you've got a faulty one :hick:
