did you try posting it on corral.net? I sold most of my parts there, always someone looking for something there.

Thanks for the tip on corral.net, but I put it up for sale there long before I listed it for sale here.  You know the economy is  when an engine like this goes unsold after being up for sale so long.  I even put it up for sale on Ebay with a "Buy It Now" price of $400, but it didn't sell there either.  Since I'm sweetening the deal with a free FRPP 351W/Fox oil pan, $400 is definitely a fair price.  Not long ago, an engine like this would be snapped up in days at $400 with no swap oil pan thrown in for free.
I'm not going to give it away, so I'm going to hang onto it until someone serious comes along, even if it's a long time.  If my situation was an isolated case, that would be one thing, but I'm seeing other 351W roller motors going unsold for reasonable prices on Ebay and other Ford forums.  Crazy times.  I'll tell you what.
Thanks for trying to help me out though.  I really do appreciate it.  :D

I'll let you in on a secret.....  it isnt because of the economy, it is because of FUEL prices...  everyone knows 351's are pigs on gas....

Allow me to let you in on a secret.  Guys that build 393's and 408's, with huge cams and 225cc heads aren't all that concerned about fuel economy.  And there are a lot of guys building engines like that around.

It IS the economy.  :D

Same here, it would cost me about $250 in gas to get it.
